Programme Administration

The ADERS Programme runs under the administration of the School of Civil Engineering and with the participation of the Schools of Applied Mathematics and Physical Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mining and Metallurgical Engineering of NTUA.

The Programme is directed by the Course of Studies Committee (CSC) consisted of nine faculty members from the collaborating schools, who have been elected for a two (2) year term by each school’s General Assembly. The Director of the Programme presides over the Course of Studies Committee.

The Coordination Committee oversees and coordinates the operation of the Programme. It consists of 5 faculty members –instructors of the Programme- who are elected by the Course of Studies Committee (CSC) for a two (2) year term. The Director of the Programme presides over the Coordination Committee.

Data Protection Policy

In the framework of the implementation of the European General Data Protection Regulation GDPR - EU 2016/679 the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Course of Studies "Analysis and Design of Structures" has complied with the policy for the protection of personal data, in order to fully ensure the effective protection of all its students and graduates against unfair processing. I

n the context of their consent, the Programme processes the postgraduate students’ personal data exclusively for the following purposes:
  • To convey their data to the competent academic and administrative bodies of the Programme and NTUA, in accordance with the Programme’s and NTUA’s Rules of Procedure.
  • To convey the students’ data to the instructors of the courses they are enrolled in.
  • To convey the identity data (full name, father’s name) of the registered postgraduate students to the Postgraduate Student Association for the purpose of drawing up lists for the conduct of student elections.
  • To inform students about matters concerning their studies in the MSc Programme either by e-mail, by telephone or by any other mean of communication.
  • To inform students about educational programs, events and actions related to the MSc Programme either by e-mail, by telephone or by any other mean of communication.
  • To publish the students' names both in the graduates’ and in the Postgraduate Theses’ lists, which are posted on the Programme's website .
The Programme ensures the personal’s data security and does not convey them to third parties.

The personal data of postgraduate students and graduates are maintained indefinitely.  


According to GDPR postgraduate students have the following rights: 
  • to be informed about their personal data that are collected and processed
  • to access their personal data maintained by the Programme
  • to rectify any inaccurate or incomplete personal data
  • to delete their data , if the legal conditions are met.
  • to restrict processing when specific conditions apply
  • to revoke their consent partly or in whole, to the processing of their personal data. The withdrawal of the consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data that was based on this consent and took place beforehand
If the students consider that their rights are being violated, they have the right to file a complaint to the Personal Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr), which is the competent supervisory authority for the protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms of persons against the processing of their personal data.
