Services to students
Electronic Services. All students have access to electronic mail, central cloud service, courses' webpages (helios). The Computer Centre, at Zografou Campus, equipped with a modern complex of computing facilities supports all the academic activities (education, research and development) of NTUA. State - of - the art software development tools, libraries and advanced engineering packages are available to all authorized users.
NTUA Library and Information Center.It is considered to be one of the most prestigious Academic Libraries in Greece. Today the Library offers many electronic services, 240.000 books and 1500 scientific journals. All the members of NTUA, as well as the public, may use the Library services and material. Serve the teaching staff and students of the University, as well as the scientists or students of other Universities by providing access to information.
Student ID Card. All students can apply for the academic id. The academic id ensures, among others, discount in transportation, artistic events etc.
Student Eating Card. It allows students, whose income is low, to have lunch and dinner at NTUA’s restaurants. For further queries about the card and how to apply, please contact the Student Support Office (Thomaidion Centre for Publications). The rest of the students can have lunch or dinner at the restaurants paying only a small amount of money.
Special Councelor provides their services to students who face difficulties in relation to their studies, stress and anxiety, difficulty in dealing with student life or living in the city, or other problems such as those related to social relations (conflicts with the family, or friends), feelings of isolation and mood change, health problems, and other personal issues. Sports Center. Students who belong to sporting associations may join the university teams and take part in inter-university matches. Other students may use the sports facilities of NTUA and other facilities such as the Municipality of Athens swimming pool, the tennis courts in the same area, yacht clubs etc.
